Column sets and commitment to excellence
The GO-EHT sample preparation systems utilize a certified set of four high-performance chromatography columns for each sample. These clean-up columns are vacuum-sealed and designed for ease of use.
During the purification process, the columns are heated, significantly enhancing chromatography efficiency while requiring only a minimal volume of organic solvent. This process also reduces exposure for both the operator and the environment.
GO-EHT column sets are suitable for analyzing food, feed, and environmental matrices. Each complete set includes four distinct columns along with the necessary tubing:
- Silver nitrate impregnated silica column
- Sulphuric acid impregnated silica column
- Aluminum/Zr oxide concentration column
- Carbon/florisil concentration column
- Tubing set

Quality Control
Miura Co. Ltd. in Japan is an ISO 17025 accredited organization having a comprehensive quality system in place assuring constant commitment to excellence. After production of new column set batches, they are tested in accordance with strict internal quality control protocol:
- Out of every 150 newly produced columns one set is examined by QC-dept.
- The recovery rates of all PCDD/Fs and PCBs must be> 70%
- The blank values PCDD / Fs must be <0.5 pg TEQ / column set
- The blank DL-PCBs must be <0.05 pg TEQ / column set
Only if the above requirements are met, a batch passes Miura quality control with a column set certificate of quality.
These certificates contain a report of blank and recovery tests performed and provides corresponding chromatograms.
